Durable, worn-in canvas salvaged from a WWII era Swiss Army Mountain Tent has been transformed into a durable everyday carryall.
The material used to construct this bag is over 60 years old but still in the most wonderful condition. Various bits of stitching and printing have been incorporated into these totes to highlight the unique nature of the material. Any discoloration of the fabric is the result of many years of natural wear and aging.
Fully lined with either blue and white striped or camel brown cotton, these large carryalls are just the right size for holding everything you need - your laptop, groceries from the farmers market, library books etc. Two good-sized inside pockets can easily hold a cell phone, wallet, ipod, etc.
Shoulder straps made from a soft brown cowhide.
Bag measures approximately 20 inches wide, 14 inches tall, 5 inches deep.
- PLEASE NOTE -
The bag pictured is not necessarily the one you will receive since all bags are made to order. All of the totes are constructed from the same WWII era tent fabric but may incorporate different detailing than what is pictured. The photos are a good representation of what the majority of these tote bags will look like.
